I did a little swap and got this gorgeous nail polish. I fell in love! I just had to show you, how nice it is :)

nails inc. Kengsington caviar 45 second top coat

As a top coat I used nails inc. Kengsington caviar 45 second top coat and I must say, I am quite happy with it. It didn't dry in 45 seconds, but it did a good job in about 10 minutes :) which is great, as I usually have to wait forever for my polish to dry :))

I will use it more now and do a review when I get the whole picture :)

Basic Beauty nail polish Swatches - greenish :)

It was a really beautiful day today and I managed to do some swatching. On request, I did the green ones :)

This is such a lovely color - bluishly green, or greenishly blue - who knows :)

 So this is my favourite green polish, seriously! I love it - it's just a perfect green, not to bright and not to dark :) The application was easy, it's pretty... I mean, what more could I wish for ? :))

Nail polish Haul: Basic Beauty

I was in Zagreb some time ago, trying to find - for me and some of the girls over at Ars Cosmetica - some shades of Catrice nail polishes that are not avaliable in Slovenia. I had no luck with Catrice, but I did manage to get some Basic Beauty (a Limoni drugstore brand) nail polishes - which I read about over at Parokeets blog :)

His Highness Henry! The Cutest English Bulldog Puppy :)

I have to show you Henry! :)) He is an English Bulldog puppy, and he's so adorable, I couldn't resist not showing you some photos of him. :) My friend Anja (yes, she gave me the green light to post about it:)) just moved to a new house. And since she has much more space now, she decided to get herself a dog :) I guessed it would take some time for her to get one, but she surprised me last Friday. She got this little cutie :

RED ALERT! :) LCN - Oh so Red

sO... iT's aBoUt tImE I gOt BaCK! 

No...Really.... Last week was pretty much hazy, as I got sick (angina) :( I haven't been sick for a loooooooooooong loooong time now... I figure, it's all about how you fell in general. As long as I am happy, my health is happy too. And when I get stressed, well, I don't have to tell you more :)) But as I am a happy puppy (most of the time :) ) I don't get sick that often, luckily :) But when I do... I'm all up for RED :)) so here is something little I took last week. I hope you like it ;)

LCN - Oh so Red (-84) 

This is LCN - Oh so Red. I had trouble finding it on the internet, so you can also try searching it under LCN 43079-84 or just LCN -84 :) It's a bright red with cream finish. I got a gift certificate

 for a beauty salon some time ago, and a used it for manicure - hey, I was sick, so I had to pamper myself a little ;)  They use LCN nail polishes, so I chose this lovely red :)

After 3 days, I decided to play with some of my new Essence Nail Art Special Effect Toppers :) 

I used 02 circus confetti and 03 hello holo :) They are both super sparkly and nice - I don't think you can see it properly in this pictures though, but hey, next time I'll do better :))

The Vampire Diaries

It's official. I love Vampires. Not for real though, just the TV ones :) My favourite vampire is one of the Salvatore brothers (can you guess which one?) in the CW TV series The Vampire Diaries (you can read more about it here ), airing thursday nights, and me being lucky, watching them friday morning. I just loved the books by L.J. Smith (check them out here), and honestly, I didn't expect the TV series to be as good. But it surprised me, I love the show just as much as I loved the books, sometimes even more. They even started to run the show here in Slovenia now, the first season, saturdays and sundays at 20.00 (mal poglejte, ziher vam bo všeč).

Do you like vampires and which ones? And which of the Salvatore brothers would you rather have drinking your blood ? :)))

Barry M Black + Vollare Nail Artistic Perfection

I finally got to my first nail polish post :) I did a simple silver on black manicure, which is easy to do and goes well with almost every outfit :)

Sour Creme Raspberry Muffins Recipe ;)

Here it is! The Recipe :)

• 200g of raspberries (I use frozen, you can of course use fresh too)
• 120g of butter (melted and cooled)
• 120g of sugar (whichever you prefer:))
• 1 egg
• 300g of sour cream
• 3 not full teaspoons of baking powder
• ½ teaspoon of baking soda (makes them more fluffy)
• pinch of salt
• 250g flour 

If you want a ''healthier' 'version - use whole wheat flour, and instead of sugar, use agave syrup - 90 - 100 ml)

We need two bowls. In the first bowl - mix sugar and butter, then mix in an egg and sour cream. In another bowl - mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix (just enough to moisten all the ingredients).

Raspberries can be added in two ways - mixed in the dough (frozen), or you can first fill the  muffin tins or paper cases with dough and than spread the raspberries and gently push them in the dough (this makes them even more beautiful) :))
Bake in preheated oven at  375° F (190° C), on the medium grid, approx. 25 minutes:)
If you can, leave them to cool a little ;)))

You can sprinkle them with powdered sugar :)

Recept za mafine s kislo smetano in malinami ;)

• 200g malin (jst dam zmrznjene, lahko seveda tudi sveže ) 
• 120g masla (raztopimo ga) 
• 120g sladkorja (jaz dam rjavega, vi lahko sladkate po želji :)) ) 
• 1 jajce 
• 300g kisle smetane 
• 3 ne polne kavne žličke pecilnega praška 
• en čist mal sode bikarbone (so pol še bol rahli ) 
• ščepec soli 
• 250g moke 

Če hočete ''bolj zdravo'' različico - polnozrnata moka, namesto sladkorja pa uporabite agavin sirup - 90 - 100 ml :)

Rabimo dve skledi. V eni najprej zmešamo sladkor in maslo, potem primešamo še jajce in kislo smetano. V drugi posodi zmešamo moko, pecilnega, sodo bikarbono in sol. Suhe sestavine dodamo k vlažnim in premešamo (ni treba fejst mešat, sam toliko, da se vse sestavine navlažijo).

Maline lahko dodamo na dva načina - jih kar vmešamo v testo (zmrznjene), ali pa najprej s testom napolnimo model za mafine, na testo razporedimo maline in jih narahlo potisnemo v testo (tak bojo ful lepi) :))

Pečemo jih v pečici segreti na 190°C, na srednji rešetki, cca. 25 minut :)
Če nam uspe, jih pustimo, da se vsaj malo ohladijo ;)))

Lahko jih potresete s sladkorjem v prahu :)

...and here is my first blog entry. Yeah, easy, I thought. But the more I tried to figure out what to write for my first time, the less I knew. I decided to keep it simple. This Blog is something I wanted to do for a long time, and I am just happy to finally be able to do it. So I'll start with something sweet from my kitchen :)
